A Senior Citizen on Overload

Most people who have successfully juggled three different careers would be more than ready for retirement by the age of 65, but not Newfane, VT headquartered dynamo Robert Fritz. In between his various activities as an author (Path of Least Resistance) and management consultant, Fritz has recently found time to write, direct and compose the score for his third feature film Overload, a low-budget thriller premiering this afternoon, Saturday, April 24th, at the Boston International Film Festival.

Overload stars Katherine Partington as a Boston DJ who gets caught up in some multi-generational Vermont family drama after she catches her boyfriend (Eric Morgan Cutler) in bed with another woman and flees back home to nurse her wounds. For his latest filmmaking effort, Fritz is also the recipient of an Aloha Accolade Award for Excellence in Filmmaking from this weekend's 2010 Honolulu International Film Festival.
